missing

You need not bathe,
Need not sleep
You
Need not bless me.

beauty is too strong
for us men to live by

where

is this passion,
beauty-poisoned madness?

the wolf snarls
his teeth pierce
the flesh of your own needs

rainfall
soft,
clear.
The sun shines
In bright heavens
luminous.
No rainbow beckons.
